Today Mona's puppies had their first meal. They dove right in and ate a little bit of the softened kibble. We start the puppies off on Royal Canin baby dog/starter. It is a similar formula to the puppy food, but just a smaller size. We add warm water and it softens quickly. The puppies will start eating more food as the weeks go on, and they will see less and less of Mona.

Our day started early...thanks to Panda. When she needs to go outside...she lets us know, and that means constant howling! I guess that we are lucky that she lets us know instead of pooping all over her crate! Our first visitor was a potential guardian family for one of Blaze's puppies. They were very nice and I think that they would be a great fit. We will just have to wait and see which puppy we will be keeping in our program!

Later in the evening, the Postma family came to visit the puppies. The family is still split down the middle for a favourite puppy. The puppies have been sleeping steady since they left! Still cuddled up on the toy that Miranda made for them! They love it!
